Tom’s Winter Trip to the Mountains

Tom had a great talent for snowboarding. Last winter, he made a strict plan to visit a beautiful mountain resort with his best teammates. He wanted to test his skills and taste the fresh winter air.

On Tuesday morning, Tom packed his favorite winter jacket, boots, and a protective helmet into a travel bag. The hotel was quite far, so he caught an early train at the central station. During the trip, he sat near the window, drinking hot sweet tea and reading a thick textbook about advanced snowboarding techniques.

When they arrived at the resort, the weather was absolutely perfect. The temperature was low, but the bright sunlight made the white snow look like silver. Tom fastened his bindings carefully—setting his front foot to twenty-four degrees and his back foot to positive six degrees. This specific stance gave him great stability and comfort on the steep slopes.

Tom and his team spent the entire afternoon practicing difficult turns and fast runs. He showed amazing control, moving down the mountain without any trouble. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn from each other and enjoy nature together.

By the evening, everyone was tired but completely satisfied. They returned to the warm cottage to eat a hearty dinner and talk about their future winter trips. It was an unforgettable day full of excitement and laughter.
