Bob’s Busy Day at the Beach
Bob is a brave boy who loves the beach. Last October, on a beautiful and bright morning, he packed his big blue bag with his best books, a black baseball, and a bottle of juice. He jumped onto the big bus to visit his best friend, Ben.
Ben lived in a cute cabin near the beach. He was a busy member of a local surf club. When Bob arrived, Ben was sitting at a big table, eating a banana and bread for breakfast. “I remember our plan!” Ben said with a big smile. “Let’s go before the beach gets crowded.”
They walked past a public building to reach the beach. The weather was beautiful, and it was obviously a perfect day. They played baseball together on the soft sand. Bob had the ability to hit the ball very far. After the game, they built a beautiful sandcastle. It was unbelievable how big it became.
Suddenly, a big black dog ran by and grabbed their ball. They laughed about the dog’s funny habit. By the evening, both boys were tired but happy. It was a comfortable and wonderful day, and they promised to come back for another celebration next month.
